Update Aadhaar Mobile Number From Home Using New Aadhaar App

Aaj Tak · technology

The UIDAI has introduced a new Aadhaar App allowing users to update their mobile numbers remotely, eliminating the need to visit Aadhaar centers. This feature is particularly useful for individuals whose registered mobile numbers are outdated and cause issues with OTP verification for banking and government services. The process involves downloading the official app, completing face authentication, and paying a nominal fee. However, if you no longer have access to your old registered mobile number, you may still need to visit an Aadhaar center.
