India Approves ₹2.12 Lakh Crore Defence Procurement For Armed Forces

DAC has approved capital procurement proposals worth approximately ₹2.12 lakh crore for the armed forces. Chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, the meeting granted Acceptance of Necessity (AoN) for these crucial acquisitions. The approved procurements include various systems for the Army, Navy, and Air Force, ranging from high-mobility vehicles and drones to air defence systems and helicopters. A significant portion, 82%, of these acquisitions will be sourced from Indian industries, boosting domestic defence manufacturing capabilities.

DAC ने सेना के लिए लगभग ₹2.12 लाख करोड़ के पूंजीगत खरीद प्रस्तावों को मंजूरी दे दी है। रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह की अध्यक्षता में हुई बैठक में इन महत्वपूर्ण अधिग्रहणों के लिए Acceptance of Necessity (AoN) प्रदान की गई। स्वीकृत खरीद में सेना, नौसेना और वायु सेना के लिए विभिन्न प्रणालियाँ शामिल हैं, जिनमें हाई-मोबिलिटी वाहन और ड्रोन से लेकर वायु रक्षा प्रणाली और हेलीकॉप्टर तक शामिल हैं। इन अधिग्रहणों का एक महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा, 82%, भारतीय उद्योगों से प्राप्त किया जाएगा, जिससे घरेलू रक्षा विनिर्माण क्षमताओं को बढ़ावा मिलेगा।
