धनबाद पुलिस ने साइबर अपराध में शामिल होने के आरोप में भालपहरी गांव से पांच लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया है। धनबाद, देवघर और कोडरमा जिलों के रहने वाले इन संदिग्धों पर एक बड़े साइबर धोखाधड़ी की तैयारी का आरोप है। पुलिस ने छापेमारी के दौरान लैपटॉप, मोबाइल फोन, एटीएम कार्ड, बैंक दस्तावेज और अन्य इलेक्ट्रॉनिक उपकरण जब्त किए हैं। 'साइबर शील्ड' पहल के तहत की गई इस कार्रवाई का उद्देश्य जिले में बढ़ते साइबर अपराध की घटनाओं पर अंकुश लगाना और आपराधिक नेटवर्क को खत्म करना है। जब्त की गई वस्तुओं की जांच की जा रही है ताकि कनेक्शन का पता लगाया जा सके और कथित गतिविधियों के पीछे के व्यापक नेटवर्क का खुलासा किया जा सके।
