Delhi High Court Seeks Responses on AITA Governance and Election Dispute by November 6

The Delhi High Court has directed the All India Tennis Association (AITA) and petitioners led by Somdev Devvarman to file replies regarding the AITA's Constitution amendment. The court also asked the AITA to respond to a request to include the AITA Trust and DLTA in the proceedings. Justice Gita Mittal's report alleged financial misconduct and obstruction by AITA office-bearers. The deadline for fresh AITA elections has been extended to November 27, with the next hearing scheduled for November 6.

दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने ऑल इंडिया टेनिस एसोसिएशन (AITA) और सोमदेव देववर्मन के नेतृत्व वाले याचिकाकर्ताओं को AITA के संविधान संशोधन के संबंध में जवाब दाखिल करने का निर्देश दिया है। अदालत ने AITA से AITA ट्रस्ट और DLTA को कार्यवाही में शामिल करने के अनुरोध पर भी प्रतिक्रिया मांगी है। जस्टिस गीता मित्तल की रिपोर्ट में AITA पदाधिकारियों द्वारा वित्तीय कदाचार और बाधा डालने का आरोप लगाया गया था। नए AITA चुनावों की समय सीमा 27 नवंबर तक बढ़ा दी गई है, और अगली सुनवाई 6 नवंबर को निर्धारित है।
