Bihar Jail Error: Brother Released Instead of Accused After Bail Granted

A shocking incident has come to light from Bihar Sharif Divisional Jail in Bihar, where a major error in prisoner identification led to the wrong person being released. While the elder brother, Satish Chauhan, was granted bail, his younger brother, Chandradeep Chauhan, was mistakenly released from jail. This significant lapse went unnoticed for approximately a week, only coming to light, about seven days after the alleged mistake. The jail deputy superintendent and three other jail staff have been suspended following the incident.

बिहार के बिहार शरीफ डिविजनल जेल से एक चौंकाने वाली घटना सामने आई है, जहाँ कैदी की पहचान में एक बड़ी गड़बड़ के कारण गलत व्यक्ति को रिहा कर दिया गया। जहाँ बड़े भाई सतीश चौहान को जमानत मिली थी, वहीं गलती से उनके छोटे भाई चंद्रदीप चौहान को जेल से रिहा कर दिया गया। यह बड़ी चूक लगभग एक हफ्ते तक किसी के ध्यान में नहीं आई, और कथित गलती के करीब सात दिनों बाद ही इसका पता चला। इस घटना के बाद जेल के उप अधीक्षक और तीन अन्य जेल कर्मचारियों को निलंबित कर दिया गया है।
