Acting on a tip-off, officials intercepted a hatchback on the Harsul-Amboli Road, discovering liquor manufactured in Daman, Diu, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli, where its sale is permitted but prohibited in Maharashtra. The driver, Sumitkumar Patel from Gujarat, was arrested, and a case was registered against him and potential suppliers and buyers under the Maharashtra Prohibition Act. This incident follows a similar seizure of 16 boxes.
