Section 163 Imposed in Delhi; Gatherings of 5+ Banned

Section 163 of the Indian Civil Defence Code has been enforced in New Delhi to prevent protests and disturbances. This section prohibits gatherings of five or more people, processions, demonstrations, and slogan shouting without prior written permission. The measure aims to maintain public order and safety, similar to the previously used Section 144 of the IPC. Violators face legal action, including imprisonment and fines, depending on the severity of the offense, such as obstructing government work or causing harm.

दिल्ली में धारा 163 लागू 5 से ज़्यादा लोगों के जमा होने पर रोक

भारतीय नागरिक सुरक्षा संहिता की धारा 163 को नई दिल्ली में लागू कर दिया गया है ताकि विरोध प्रदर्शन और अशांति को रोका जा सके। यह धारा बिना पूर्व लिखित अनुमति के पांच या उससे ज़्यादा लोगों के इकट्ठा होने, जुलूस निकालने, प्रदर्शन करने और नारेबाजी लगाने पर रोक लगाती है। इस उपाय का उद्देश्य IPC की धारा 144 के समान ही सार्वजनिक व्यवस्था और सुरक्षा बनाए रखना है। उल्लंघन करने वालों पर अपराध की गंभीरता के आधार पर, जैसे सरकारी काम में बाधा डालना या नुकसान पहुंचाना, कारावास और जुर्माने सहित कानूनी कार्रवाई का सामना करना पड़ेगा।
