Ex-MLA Injured In Kolkata Political Clash

Former MLA Humayun Kabir sustained a bloodied face and three others were injured in a clash between TMC and BJP workers in South Kolkata on Tuesday. Kabir alleged BJP workers assaulted him outside Purba Jadavpur PS, breaking his glasses and snatching his purse. The BJP denied the allegations, claiming TMC workers attacked a party worker filming their protest. The incident escalated from chants of "chor! chor!" into a physical altercation.

मंगलवार को दक्षिण कोलकाता में टीएमसी और बीजेपी कार्यकर्ताओं के बीच हुई झड़प में पूर्व विधायक हुमायूं कबीर का चेहरा लहूलुहान हो गया और तीन अन्य घायल हो गए। कबीर ने आरोप लगाया कि पुरबा जाधवपुर पुलिस स्टेशन के बाहर बीजेपी कार्यकर्ताओं ने उन पर हमला किया, चश्मा तोड़ दिया और पर्स छीन लिया। बीजेपी ने आरोपों से इनकार किया है। यह घटना "चोर! चोर!" के नारों से शुरू होकर मारपीट में बदल गई।
