Dhruv Jurel Reveals Yashasvi Jaiswal's Reason for Clash

Wicketkeeper-batter Dhruv Jurel has disclosed the reason behind Yashasvi Jaiswal's on-field confrontation with Sri Lanka's Asitha Fernando during the second Test in Colombo. Jurel stated that Jaiswal told him Fernando had been verbally abusing him continuously after his dismissal. Jaiswal reportedly told Fernando that while normal aggression was acceptable, personal abuse was not. Jurel described Jaiswal as someone who does not initiate verbal exchanges but will respond if provoked. Both players were later sanctioned by the ICC for breaching the Code of Conduct.

ध्रुव जुरेल ने बताया कि कोलंबो में दूसरे टेस्ट के दौरान यशस्वी जायसवाल और श्रीलंका के असिथा फर्नांडो के बीच कहासुनी क्यों हुई थी। जुरेल के मुताबिक, जायसवाल ने कहा कि फर्नांडो उनके आउट होने के बाद से लगातार गाली-गलौज कर रहे थे। जायसवाल ने फर्नांडो से कहा कि सामान्य आक्रामकता ठीक है, लेकिन व्यक्तिगत अपमान नहीं। जुरेल ने कहा कि जायसवाल खुद से झगड़ा शुरू नहीं करते, पर उकसाए जाने पर जवाब देते हैं। बाद में ICC ने दोनों खिलाड़ियों पर कार्रवाई की।
