Kanpur Police Recover Stolen Temple Crowns Worth Over Rs 2 Lakh

GRP successfully recovered four white-metal crowns, valued at over Rs 2 lakh, within 24 hours of their theft. The crowns, which adorned idols in Jhagdeshwar Hanuman Temple at Kanpur Central station, were stolen on Saturday,. Police arrested a 20-year-old man, Krishna Tiwari, near the station's Prayagraj end. Investigators reviewed footage from over 100 CCTV cameras and gathered local intelligence to facilitate the swift recovery. A case has been registered against the accused.

जीआरपी ने 24 घंटे के अंदर ₹2 लाख से ज़्यादा की कीमत के चार सफ़ेद धातु के मुकुट सफलतापूर्वक बरामद कर लिए हैं। ये मुकुट कानपुर सेंट्रल स्टेशन के झगदेश्वर हनुमान मंदिर में मूर्तियों पर लगे थे और शनिवार को चोरी हो गए थे। पुलिस ने स्टेशन के प्रयागराज छोर के पास से 20 साल के कृष्णा तिवारी को गिरफ्तार किया है। जांचकर्ताओं ने मुकुटों की तुरंत बरामदगी के लिए 100 से ज़्यादा सीसीटीवी कैमरों की फुटेज खंगाली और स्थानीय ख़ुफ़िया जानकारी जुटाई। आरोपी के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज कर लिया गया है।
