Amazon Web Services' cloud computing capacity is largely sold out through 2027, with significant commitments extending into 2028, according to CEO Andy Jassy. He stated that Amazon is struggling to meet the immense demand for AI infrastructure from labs and enterprises. The company plans substantial capital expenditure, having previously announced approximately $220 billion for 2026. Jassy noted that capacity for 2026 is already sold out, and while some capacity is reserved for on-demand services like Bedrock and EC2, the major allocations for 2027 are also fully committed.
