Ex-Soldier Gets Bail For Allegedly Killing Wife In Court Premises

The Bombay High Court has granted bail to ex-soldier Deepak Pandurang Dhavale, accused of shooting his estranged wife inside a court complex in 2022. The bench noted that Dhavale has been in jail for over four years and the trial has not yet commenced. बॉम्बे हाई कोर्ट ने पूर्व सैनिक दीपक पांडुरंग धवले को जमानत दे दी है, जिन पर 2022 में कोर्ट परिसर के अंदर अपनी अलग रह रही पत्नी की गोली मारकर हत्या करने का आरोप है। बेंच ने कहा कि धवले चार साल से ज़्यादा जेल में हैं और अभी तक मुकदमा शुरू नहीं हुआ है। लंबी कैद और मुकदमा पूरा होने में लगने वाले संभावित समय को देखते हुए, कोर्ट ने उनकी जमानत याचिका मंजूर कर ली।
