Kolkata Police is set to transform its crowd management volunteers for Durga Puja, moving away from the traditional white and blue. A tender worth Rs 89 lakh has been floated to provide 20,000 temporary volunteers with full-sleeve T-shirts and caps in shades of orange. This initiative aims to enhance visibility and ensure citizens can easily identify support personnel during the busy festivities.

कोलकाता पुलिस दुर्गा पूजा के लिए अपने क्राउड मैनेजमेंट वॉलंटियर्स को बदलने वाली है। अब वे पारंपरिक सफेद और नीले रंग के बजाय नारंगी रंग की फुल-स्लीव टी-शर्ट और कैप पहनेंगे। इसके लिए 89 लाख रुपये का टेंडर निकाला गया है, जिससे 20,000 वॉलंटियर्स को ये किट मिलेंगी। इससे भीड़ के दौरान लोगों को मदद के लिए वॉलंटियर्स को पहचानने में आसानी होगी।
