Delhi-NCR Sees Rain, Thunderstorms; More Showers Expected Across India

A new weather system in the Bay of Bengal is causing widespread rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds across many parts of India. Delhi and its surrounding NCR regions experienced heavy rainfall and strong winds overnight, leading to waterlogging in some areas. The weather department forecasts continued rain in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh until mid-October. Mountainous regions like Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh are also expecting heavy showers, thunderstorms, and gusty winds, with some areas potentially experiencing hailstorms.

बंगाल की खाड़ी में एक नए मौसम प्रणाली के कारण भारत के कई हिस्सों में व्यापक बारिश, गरज के साथ बौछारें और तेज हवाएं चल रही हैं। दिल्ली और इसके आसपास के एनसीआर क्षेत्रों में रात भर भारी बारिश और तेज हवाएं चलीं, जिससे कुछ इलाकों में जलभराव हो गया। मौसम विभाग ने मध्य अक्टूबर तक उत्तर प्रदेश, बिहार, झारखंड, पंजाब, राजस्थान, मध्य प्रदेश और छत्तीसगढ़ में लगातार बारिश का अनुमान लगाया है। उत्तराखंड और हिमाचल प्रदेश जैसे पहाड़ी इलाकों में भी भारी बौछारें, गरज के साथ बौछारें और तेज हवाएं चलने की उम्मीद है, कुछ इलाकों में ओलावृष्टि भी हो सकती है।
