Goa Airfares Exceed Peak Season Prices

Airfares to Goa for the upcoming long weekend have surged to unprecedented levels, surpassing even the peak season rates of December and January. For instance, a return flight from Goa to Chennai on Sunday costs Rs 18,400, more than four times the usual Rs 4,500. Flights into Goa are also significantly more expensive, with a ticket from Chennai costing Rs 10,600. These inflated prices are attributed to rising jet fuel costs, driven by geopolitical conflicts, and increased demand during the holiday period.
