The Supreme Court has directed the Guruvayoor Sri Krishna Temple in Kerala to conduct the Udayasthamana Pooja on Ekadasi day following its traditional practice. A bench led by Justice Aravind Kumar emphasized that worshippers' faith and sentiments should take precedence over management challenges. The court considered a challenge by traditional managing families against decisions to alter or reschedule the ritual. Management had cited logistical issues due to large crowds on Ekadasi, but the court acknowledged the devotional significance of the long wait for devotees.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने केरल के गुरुवायूर श्री कृष्ण मंदिर को एकादशी के दिन उदयस्तमना पूजा अपनी पारंपरिक प्रथा के अनुसार करने का निर्देश दिया है। जस्टिस अरविंद कुमार की अगुवाई वाली एक पीठ ने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि भक्तों की आस्था और भावनाओं को प्रबंधन की चुनौतियों पर प्राथमिकता मिलनी चाहिए। अदालत ने पारंपरिक प्रबंधन परिवारों द्वारा अनुष्ठान को बदलने या पुनर्निर्धारित करने के निर्णयों के खिलाफ दायर एक याचिका पर विचार किया। प्रबंधन ने एकादशी पर भारी भीड़ के कारण लॉजिस्टिक समस्याओं का हवाला दिया था, लेकिन अदालत ने भक्तों के लिए लंबी प्रतीक्षा के भक्तिमय महत्व को स्वीकार किया।
