राजस्थान के कोटा में बड़ा राजनीतिक उलटफेर हुआ है। बीजेपी की अनुसुइया गोस्वामी नई मेयर चुनी गई हैं। कांग्रेस के पाँच पार्षदों के पाला बदलने से क्रॉस-वोटिंग हुई, जिससे कांग्रेस को बड़ा झटका लगा। बीजेपी को उम्मीद से ज़्यादा 65 वोट मिले, जबकि कांग्रेस को सिर्फ 35 वोट मिले। इससे कांग्रेस में अंदरूनी कलह सामने आ गई है और अब वे बागी पार्षदों पर कार्रवाई का फैसला करेंगे।
