BJP Accuses Congress Govt. of Shirking Responsibility Towards Sugarcane Farmers

The BJP Raitha Morcha State president Aminappagouda S. Patil Nadahalli has accused the Congress government in Karnataka of playing politics over the sugarcane growers' agitation. He stated that the State government is shirking its responsibility, which legally requires it to share 70% of the burden for ensuring fair prices, and is instead blaming the Centre. Nadahalli highlighted issues such as sugarcane recovery rates and weighing discrepancies, urging the State to address these pressing concerns. He added that the Centre is actively working on solutions, including promoting value-added products from sugarcane.

भाजपा रैथा मोर्चे के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष अमीनप्पगौडा एस. पाटिल नडाहल्ली ने कर्नाटक की कांग्रेस सरकार पर गन्ना किसानों के आंदोलन को लेकर राजनीति करने का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य सरकार अपनी जिम्मेदारी से बच रही है, जिसके तहत कानूनी तौर पर उचित मूल्य सुनिश्चित करने के लिए 70% बोझ साझा करना आवश्यक है, और इसके बजाय केंद्र को दोष दे रही है। नडाहल्ली ने गन्ने की रिकवरी दर और तौल में गड़बड़ी जैसे मुद्दों पर प्रकाश डाला और राज्य से इन गंभीर चिंताओं को दूर करने का आग्रह किया। उन्होंने कहा कि केंद्र गन्ने से मूल्य वर्धित उत्पादों को बढ़ावा देने सहित समाधानों पर सक्रिय रूप से काम कर रहा है।
