India-UK Trade Deal Cuts Car Prices, Whisky Waits

British car prices are set to decrease following the initial implementation of the India-UK CETA trade agreement. Luxury carmakers like JLR and McLaren have already announced significant price reductions on their imported vehicles. While Scotch and Indian whiskies will also see price cuts after state excise clearances, high alcohol taxes may limit the extent of these benefits for consumers.

भारत और यूके के बीच CETA ट्रेड एग्रीमेंट लागू होने के बाद ब्रिटिश कारों की कीमतें कम होने वाली हैं। JLR और McLaren जैसी लग्जरी कार कंपनियों ने अपनी इम्पोर्टेड गाड़ियों के दाम घटाने का ऐलान कर दिया है। स्कॉच और इंडियन व्हिस्की के दाम भी कम होंगे, लेकिन शराब पर ज़्यादा टैक्स होने की वजह से ग्राहकों को शायद उतना फायदा न मिले।
