Soha Ali Khan revealed her mother Sharmila Tagore met Kunal Kemmu while he was filming a scene in a white bathrobe. Tagore liked Kemmu immediately, according to Soha. Kemmu corrected Soha's initial recollection of the bathrobe color during a throwback interview. The couple met while shooting for films and their relationship developed over time. They eventually married in 2015 and are parents to their daughter Inaaya.

सोहा अली खान ने बताया कि उनकी माँ शर्मिला टैगोर की मुलाकात कुणाल खेमू से तब हुई थी जब वह एक सीन की शूटिंग कर रहे थे और उन्होंने सफेद रंग का बाथरोब पहना था। सोहा के अनुसार, टैगोर को कुणाल तुरंत पसंद आ गए थे। एक पुराने इंटरव्यू में कुणाल ने सोहा की बाथरोब के रंग वाली बात को ठीक किया था। दोनों की मुलाकात फिल्मों की शूटिंग के दौरान हुई थी और धीरे-धीरे उनका रिश्ता बढ़ा।
