North Korea Opens Bridges to Russia and China

North Korea has recently completed two new road bridges, enhancing transport links with its strategic neighbors, Russia and China. The New Yalu River Bridge, connecting Dandong in China with Sinuiju in North Korea, is expected to open by October 6. This four-lane bridge spans over 3,000 meters and aims to ease traffic on the older Sino-Korean Friendship Bridge. Additionally, a road bridge over the Tumen River connecting North Korea's Rason region with Khasan in Russia opened on September 7, facilitating direct road transport for the first time.
