A land cave-in occurred near Mukkali on the National Highway in Kozhikode, Keralam, on Monday, September 21, 2026. The incident happened during excavation for a protective wall, fortunately while workers were on lunch. Two nearby houses are now in a precarious position due to the instability. Residents protested on the highway, demanding immediate intervention from NHAI and Revenue department officials, who assured them of a site visit.
