बिहार के नेता प्रतिपक्ष तेजस्वी यादव ने केंद्र सरकार पर बाढ़ राहत के मामले में राज्य को "सौतेला व्यवहार" करने का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने कहा कि 48 लाख से ज़्यादा लोग प्रभावित हैं और बाढ़ को राष्ट्रीय आपदा घोषित कर विशेष आर्थिक पैकेज देने की मांग की। यादव ने 'डबल-इंजन' सरकार की आलोचना की और कहा कि बिहार में आठ NDA मंत्री और 30 लोकसभा सांसद होने के बावजूद केंद्र से कोई मदद नहीं मिल रही है।
