Air France-KLM has no plans to split its Mumbai passenger flights between the existing airport and the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport. The airline's general manager stated that splitting operations would reduce efficiency, necessitate new teams, and complicate ground handling arrangements. While cargo flights will move to the new airport, passenger operations will remain consolidated at one location. This decision prioritizes operational simplicity and network management for long-haul flights. However, the airline indicated a potential full relocation if the current airport's capacity becomes unworkable.
