Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has condemned the five-day judicial custody of Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka, stating that waving the national flag during a peaceful protest is not a crime. The CJP leaders were sent to Tihar Jail for allegedly violating peace bonds and trespassing into Jantar Mantar, which has been de-notified as a protest site. Gandhi asserted that Jantar Mantar belongs to the people and vowed to reclaim it, emphasizing that protests for constitutional rights are unified.

कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी ने कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी (सीजेपी) के नेताओं सौरव दास और आशुतोष रंका की पांच दिन की न्यायिक हिरासत की निंदा की है। उन्होंने कहा कि शांतिपूर्ण विरोध प्रदर्शन के दौरान राष्ट्रीय ध्वज लहराना कोई अपराध नहीं है। सीजेपी नेताओं को कथित तौर पर शांति बॉन्ड का उल्लंघन करने और जंतर मंतर में घुसने के लिए तिहाड़ जेल भेजा गया था, जिसे विरोध स्थल के रूप में डी-नोटिफाई कर दिया गया है। गांधी ने जोर देकर कहा कि जंतर मंतर लोगों का है और उन्होंने इसे वापस लेने का वादा किया। उन्होंने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि संवैधानिक अधिकारों के लिए विरोध प्रदर्शन एकजुट हैं।
