An ED-sealed flat in Thane, attached in a money laundering case linked to Dawood Ibrahim's brother Iqbal Kaskar, was illegally occupied. Individuals allegedly broke the lock and removed the legal notice. Upon learning of this, the Enforcement Directorate swiftly acted, with heavy police presence, to regain possession of the flat. A new notice was affixed, and a strict FIR has been filed against the accused for unauthorized entry and interference. The flat was initially attached in April 2022 and possession was taken in December 2024.
