Andhra Pradesh is set to experience a wet spell from October 14 to 19, coinciding with the Northeast Monsoon's onset over South Peninsular India around October 15. While a predicted low-pressure system over the Bay of Bengal has weakened, experts state the monsoon and existing troughs will cause the rainfall. Light to moderate showers are expected from October 15, with isolated heavy rainfall and thunderstorms accompanied by winds up to 40 kmph predicted between October 16 and 19 across the state's three regions.
