Reserve Bank of India's former governor Shaktikanta Das stated India's economy is nearing 8% growth, driven by comprehensive reforms like GST, inflation control, and banking improvements. He highlighted that this robust performance, exceeding initial estimates with a 7.8% GDP increase in the June quarter, is a result of sustained policy measures and strong domestic demand. Das emphasized that India's economic resilience is not accidental but a product of structural safeguards implemented over the past decade.
