LIC's Profit Surges 20% to ₹12,115 Crore in Q2 FY27

LIC reported a significant 20% year-on-year increase in net profit for the second quarter of FY27, reaching ₹12,115 crore. This marks a substantial rise from the ₹10,098 crore profit recorded in the same period last year. The company's net premium income also saw a healthy 16.2% growth, climbing to ₹1.47 lakh crore from ₹1.27 lakh crore. A key driver for this improved performance was the single premium category, which surged by 34.5%. Additionally, LIC's gross non-performing assets (GNPA) decreased to 1.16%.

LIC ने FY27 की दूसरी तिमाही में पिछले साल की इसी अवधि के ₹10,098 करोड़ के मुनाफ़े से 20% की बड़ी बढ़ोतरी दर्ज की है, जो ₹12,115 करोड़ रहा। कंपनी की नेट प्रीमियम आय में भी 16.2% की अच्छी वृद्धि हुई, जो ₹1.27 लाख करोड़ से बढ़कर ₹1.47 लाख करोड़ हो गई। इस बेहतर प्रदर्शन का एक मुख्य कारण सिंगल प्रीमियम श्रेणी रही, जो 34.5% बढ़ी। इसके अलावा, LIC की ग्रॉस नॉन-परफॉर्मिंग एसेट्स (GNPA) घटकर 1.16% हो गई।
