TVK MLAs Take Oath After "Historic Victory", Slam Opposition Smear Tactics

Newly elected TVK MLAs Maragatham Kumaravel and P Sathyabama assumed office, calling their consecutive wins a historic victory. They dismissed the opposition's smear campaign as a failed attempt to influence voters. Madurantakam MLA Kumaravel criticized personal and misogynistic attacks during the campaign, alleging collusion between DMK and AIADMK. Dharapuram MLA Sathyabama credited public trust and promised to resolve water scarcity. Kumaravel secured her seat by 20,040 votes, while Sathyabama won by 9,471 votes in the bypolls.

नव-निर्वाचित टीवीके विधायकों, मरगथम कुमारवेल और पी. सत्यभामा ने पदभार ग्रहण किया, अपनी लगातार जीत को ऐतिहासिक जीत बताया। उन्होंने विपक्षी दलों के दुष्प्रचार अभियान को मतदाताओं को प्रभावित करने का एक असफल प्रयास कहकर खारिज कर दिया। मदुरंथकम की विधायक कुमारवेल ने अभियान के दौरान व्यक्तिगत और स्त्री-द्वेषपूर्ण हमलों की आलोचना की, डीएमके और एआईएडीएमके के बीच मिलीभगत का आरोप लगाया। धरपुरम की विधायक सत्यभामा ने जनता के विश्वास का श्रेय दिया और पानी की कमी को दूर करने का वादा किया। कुमारवेल ने 20,040 वोटों से अपनी सीट सुरक्षित की, जबकि सत्यभामा ने उपचुनाव में 9,471 वोटों से जीत हासिल की।
