Minister Inspects Yettinahole Project, Assures Completion

Water Resources Minister N. Cheluvarayaswamy inspected the Yettinahole Drinking Water Project in Hassan district, assuring its completion within two months. The project aims to divert west-flowing river water to address water scarcity in seven parched districts. It is designed to lift 24.01 tmc of water during monsoon months, fill 527 tanks, and benefit over 75 lakh people in 6,657 villages and 38 towns.

जल संसाधन मंत्री एन. चेलुवरायस्वामी ने हासन जिले में येट्टिनाहोले पेयजल परियोजना का निरीक्षण किया। उन्होंने भरोसा दिलाया कि यह दो महीने में पूरी हो जाएगी। इस प्रोजेक्ट का मकसद सात सूखे जिलों में पानी की कमी दूर करने के लिए पश्चिम की ओर बहने वाले नदी के पानी को मोड़ना है। यह मानसून में 24.01 टीएमसी पानी उठाएगा, 527 टैंक भरेगा और 6,657 गांवों व 38 कस्बों के 75 लाख से ज़्यादा लोगों को फायदा पहुंचाएगा।
