Rajasthan's health department has ordered an urgent review of maternal healthcare services at Baran Government Hospital following the deaths of two pregnant women. Both women were initially admitted to Baran hospital before being referred to Kota for advanced care. Investigations will examine emergency obstetric preparedness, blood support, and referral protocols. The review will also assess staff accountability and adherence to standard procedures for high-risk pregnancies and severe complications. This scrutiny follows repeated maternal emergencies linked to the hospital's referral chain.

राजस्थान के स्वास्थ्य विभाग ने बारां सरकारी अस्पताल में मातृ स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं की तत्काल समीक्षा का आदेश दिया है, क्योंकि वहां दो गर्भवती महिलाओं की मौत हो गई। दोनों महिलाओं को पहले बारां अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया था, फिर बेहतर इलाज के लिए कोटा रेफर किया गया था। जांच में आपातकालीन प्रसूति तैयारी, ब्लड सपोर्ट और रेफरल प्रोटोकॉल की पड़ताल की जाएगी। यह समीक्षा स्टाफ की जवाबदेही और हाई-रिस्क प्रेगनेंसी व गंभीर जटिलताओं के लिए मानक प्रक्रियाओं के पालन का भी आकलन करेगी। यह जांच अस्पताल की रेफरल चेन से जुड़ी बार-बार की मातृ आपात स्थितियों के बाद हो रही है।
