Iran's authorities are intensifying a nationwide campaign to arm and train civilians for state security roles, amid fears of renewed conflict with the US and Israel. Launched in March, the 'Janfada' (those who sacrifice their life) initiative aims to recruit volunteers of all ages, focusing on youth. Representatives from the Basij militia and other state bodies are offering weapons training at public booths across numerous cities.
