Economist Sees Warning Signs In US Jobs Report

Moody's chief economist Mark Zandi has issued a 'big warning' regarding the June US jobs report, calling it overly optimistic. He pointed to modest payroll gains and downward revisions in previous months' job increases. Zandi also highlighted a sharp decline in employment shown by the household survey, arguing the falling unemployment rate is misleading due to lower labor force participation.

मूडीज़ के मुख्य अर्थशास्त्री मार्क ज़ैंडी ने जून की अमेरिकी नौकरियों की रिपोर्ट को लेकर 'बड़ी चेतावनी' दी है। उन्होंने इसे बहुत आशावादी बताया है। ज़ैंडी ने कहा कि पिछले महीनों के मुकाबले नौकरियों में मामूली बढ़ोतरी हुई है और कुछ पुराने आंकड़े भी घटाए गए हैं। उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि घरेलू सर्वेक्षण में रोज़गार में बड़ी गिरावट दिखी है। ज़ैंडी के अनुसार, श्रम बल की भागीदारी कम होने से बेरोज़गारी दर का गिरना भ्रामक है।
