A dispute over seating arrangements for children at a qawwali event in Buldhana district's Deulgaon Raja escalated into a violent clash, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and injuries to seven others. The deceased have been identified as Shiv Sena councillor Sheikh Anwar alias Anu Sheikh Ali and NCP worker Arif alias Asif Harun Pathan. Police have registered cross-cases of murder and other serious offences against members of both groups and have arrested 20 people.
