Dhanteras: Buy Coriander For Prosperity Instead Of Gold

Aaj Tak · spirituality

Dhanteras, celebrated, is traditionally a time for purchasing gold and silver for good fortune. However, with rising prices, buying expensive items is difficult for many. Astrologers suggest that a simple item costing just 10 rupees can bring similar blessings. Buying whole coriander seeds on Dhanteras is considered auspicious, believed to attract the grace of Lord Dhanvantari and Kubera. After the puja, these seeds can be planted, symbolizing prosperity and happiness.
