Former IAS officer Divya Mittal has announced the formation of her new political party, 'Jananeeti Bharat', aiming to contest the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections in 2027. Mittal has pledged public participation, need-based decision-making, and accountability in governance as her party's core principles. She is not the first former bureaucrat to enter politics; Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan, Ajit Jogi, and Shah Faesal also formed their own parties after leaving civil service. Jogi even became the first Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh.

पूर्व IAS अधिकारी दिव्या मित्तल ने अपनी नई राजनीतिक पार्टी 'जननीति भारत' के गठन की घोषणा की है, जिसका लक्ष्य 2027 में उत्तर प्रदेश विधानसभा चुनावों में भाग लेना है। मित्तल ने अपने पार्टी के मुख्य सिद्धांतों के रूप में शासन में जन भागीदारी, आवश्यकता-आधारित निर्णय लेने और जवाबदेही का वादा किया है। वह राजनीति में प्रवेश करने वाली पहली पूर्व नौकरशाह नहीं हैं; डॉ. जयप्रकाश नारायण, अजीत जोगी और शाह फैसल ने भी सिविल सेवा छोड़ने के बाद अपनी पार्टियां बनाई थीं। जोगी छत्तीसगढ़ के पहले मुख्यमंत्री भी बने थे।
