US equity funds experienced net outflows for a fourth consecutive week ending September 18. Rising crude oil prices fueled inflation concerns, while anticipated Federal Reserve rate hikes prompted investor caution. Approximately $31.44 billion was withdrawn from US equity funds. Large-cap funds saw the largest redemptions, though small-cap and sector-specific funds attracted some investment. Global bond funds also saw reduced inflows.
