A review meeting emphasized reinspecting all district ghats due to potential changes from floods, with dangerous sites to be clearly marked. Roads leading to ghats must be repaired, and stepped ghat construction in rural areas needs prompt completion. Essential amenities like electricity, lighting, drinking water, and toilets are to be provided at all identified ghats before the festival begins.

पटना के जिला मजिस्ट्रेट कुंदन कुमार ने अधिकारियों को छठ पर्व के असुरक्षित घाटों की पहचान करने और श्रद्धालुओं के लिए बुनियादी सुविधाएं और सुरक्षित रास्ते सुनिश्चित करने का निर्देश दिया है। एक समीक्षा बैठक में बाढ़ से संभावित बदलावों के कारण सभी जिला घाटों का पुन: निरीक्षण करने पर जोर दिया गया, खतरनाक स्थलों को स्पष्ट रूप से चिह्नित किया जाएगा। घाटों तक जाने वाली सड़कों की मरम्मत की जानी चाहिए, और ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में सीढ़ीदार घाटों के निर्माण को तुरंत पूरा करने की आवश्यकता है। बिजली, प्रकाश व्यवस्था, पीने के पानी और शौचालयों जैसी आवश्यक सुविधाएं त्योहार शुरू होने से पहले सभी चिह्नित घाटों पर प्रदान की जानी चाहिए।
