A 24-year-old man in Thane, India, has surrendered to police 20 days after allegedly beating his friend to death following a drunken argument. The accused, Prabhu Karkade, confessed that he was tormented by the victim's ghost appearing in his dreams every night. Unable to sleep due to fear and guilt, he eventually turned himself in. The victim, 43-year-old Pallav alias Vishal Kadam, was allegedly kicked and beaten during the dispute. The accused and his landlord then disposed of the body.
