Bail Plea Partially Accepted for Ex-Judge in Daughter-in-Law's Death Case

The Madhya Pradesh High Court has partially accepted the amended bail plea of retired district judge Giribala Singh, accused in the death of her daughter-in-law Twisha Sharma. The charge of dowry has been dropped, while the charge of abetment to suicide has been added. Twisha was found dead at her matrimonial home in Bhopal on May 12. The CBI stated that technical evidence is still being examined, and the investigation is ongoing. The court has scheduled further hearing for October 14.

मध्य प्रदेश हाई कोर्ट ने रिटायर्ड जिला जज गिरिबाला सिंह की संशोधित जमानत अर्जी को आंशिक रूप से स्वीकार कर लिया है, जिन पर उनकी बहू त्विशा शर्मा की मौत का आरोप है। दहेज का आरोप हटा दिया गया है, जबकि आत्महत्या के लिए उकसाने का आरोप जोड़ा गया है। त्विशा 12 मई को भोपाल में अपने ससुराल में मृत पाई गई थी। सीबीआई ने कहा कि तकनीकी सबूतों की अभी जांच की जा रही है, और जांच जारी है। कोर्ट ने आगे की सुनवाई के लिए 14 अक्टूबर की तारीख तय की है।
