WhatsApp's New Smart Text Actions Feature Simplifies Chat Interactions

TV9 Hindi · technology

WhatsApp is rolling out a new Smart Text Actions feature for Android and iOS users, allowing them to perform tasks directly within chats. This feature automatically identifies phone numbers, dates, times, emails, and addresses shared in conversations. Users can then tap on these details to get shortcuts for actions like saving contacts, adding calendar events, opening maps, or sending emails. While some functionalities existed previously, this update consolidates them for a more streamlined user experience. The feature is currently being rolled out to select users.
