Bodies of 5 Missing Villagers Found in Odisha Landslides; Toll Reaches 10

Five more bodies were recovered on Thursday from debris in Ganjam district, Odisha, bringing the total number of recovered bodies to seven out of twelve missing villagers. These recoveries raise the statewide toll from rain-related landslides to ten. The recovered bodies belonged to members of a single family. Search operations are ongoing for the remaining five missing villagers. The administration is providing compensation to the next of kin, and unnatural death cases have been registered.
