CJP के दिल्ली में विरोध प्रदर्शन के कारण कनॉट प्लेस और चांदनी चौक सहित प्रमुख बाजार बंद रहे। इससे दिल्ली के व्यापारियों को ₹2,000 करोड़ का अनुमानित व्यावसायिक नुकसान हुआ। CTI ने CJP और राजनीतिक दलों से दिवाली तक विरोध प्रदर्शन स्थगित करने की अपील की है। CTI के चेयरमैन बृजेश गोयल ने बताया कि नवरात्रि और दिवाली सहित त्योहारी सीजन शहर के 20 लाख व्यापारियों के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है। लगातार प्रदर्शनों से दिल्ली की अर्थव्यवस्था और आजीविका पर गंभीर असर पड़ सकता है।
