India FDI Inflows Increase 6% To $19.81 Billion

Foreign direct investment (FDI) into India saw a 6 per cent increase, reaching USD 19.81 billion during the April-June quarter of the current fiscal year. This marks a rise from the USD 18.62 billion received during the same period in the previous fiscal year. The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) data indicates that Singapore, Mauritius, and the United States were the primary sources of these overseas investments in the first quarter. This inflow signifies continued investor confidence in India's economic landscape.

इस वित्तीय वर्ष की अप्रैल-जून तिमाही में भारत में विदेशी सीधा निवेश (FDI) 6% बढ़कर 19.81 अरब डॉलर हो गया। पिछले साल इसी अवधि में यह 18.62 अरब डॉलर था। DPIIT के आंकड़ों के अनुसार, सिंगापुर, मॉरीशस और अमेरिका से सबसे ज़्यादा निवेश आया। यह दिखाता है कि निवेशकों का भारत की अर्थव्यवस्था पर भरोसा अभी भी कायम है।
