Two Girls Feared Drowned in Kao River During Jitiya Festival

Two girls, 12-year-old Anshi Kumari and 10-year-old Kajal Kumari, are feared drowned in the strong currents of the Kao river near Pachdarwa bridge in Buxar. The incident occurred on Saturday evening while they were bathing with family members during the Jitiya festival. Villagers and local divers initiated a search operation immediately after the incident. Police have been informed, and the SDRF team has been alerted. Another girl bathing with them was rescued by women present at the scene.

बक्सर के पचदरवा पुल के पास काओ नदी की तेज धार में 12 साल की अंशी कुमारी और 10 साल की काजल कुमारी नाम की दो लड़कियों के डूबने की आशंका है। यह घटना शनिवार शाम को हुई, जब वे जितिया पर्व के दौरान परिवार के सदस्यों के साथ नहा रही थीं। घटना के तुरंत बाद ग्रामीणों और स्थानीय गोताखोरों ने तलाशी अभियान शुरू कर दिया। पुलिस को सूचित कर दिया गया है और SDRF टीम को अलर्ट कर दिया गया है। उनके साथ नहा रही एक अन्य लड़की को मौके पर मौजूद महिलाओं ने बचा लिया।
