Indian automotive technology companies have raised $1.3 billion across 97 funding rounds in 2026 so far, according to a Tracxn report. This figure is lower than the $2.1 billion raised across 195 rounds in the entirety of 2025. Major funding rounds included ride-hailing firm Rapido's $240 million and electric two-wheeler manufacturer Simple Energy's $180 million. Later-stage funding accounted for $810 million, with significant acquisitions also noted in the sector. The report excludes debt, grant, and post-IPO funding.
