Owaisi Slams UCC Push, Cites Constitutional Conflicts

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has strongly opposed the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) push by Union minister Amit Shah and the BJP. Owaisi argued that the proposed UCC conflicts with fundamental constitutional rights, including freedom of religion and the right to equality, citing Articles 14, 25, 26, and 29. He stated that the BJP's agenda is to target India's Muslim population rather than promote equality.
