Agniveers Receive Rs 11.7 Lakh Package Post 4-Year Service

After completing four years of service under the Agnipath scheme, Agniveers receive a Seva Nidhi package totaling approximately Rs 11.71 lakh. This package includes their contributions and an equal amount from the government, plus accrued interest, and is exempt from income tax. Agniveers do not receive pension or gratuity like regular soldiers, but up to 25% may be absorbed into the regular cadre. They also receive a Rs 48 lakh life insurance cover during their service and reservations in CAPF, Assam Rifles, and railways.
