Singapore's economy experienced a significant growth of 5.4 percent year-on-year in the third quarter, continuing an AI-fueled expansion. Manufacturing, particularly the semiconductor industry, saw a 7.5 percent increase, while construction, including data centers, grew by 8.8 percent. This performance positions Singapore as one of the fastest-growing advanced economies, with projections of 5 percent growth for the full year. Despite this strong performance, the central bank maintained its monetary policy, anticipating a cooling of AI demand in the coming year.
